Ottawa Valley Pottery's Earthenware is a natural, unmodified clay which we have chosen to find locally in the Ottawa valley. For this reason it makes our pottery/earthenware stand out as being extra unique and makes it a whole lot more connected to the region of where it is brought into functional creations. We do our best to promote local, natural products and finding clay right from our local Ottawa area is our way of adding an interesting twist to our pottery products. We have multiple areas in the Ottawa valley where we get our clay and have been very happy with the results. We are now able to process top quality, unmodified earthenware clay to work with. Our earthenware comes only from hand picked, local Ottawa Valley clay.

We are able to boast in being one of the few pottery studios in Canada to provide products made with the local clay of the Ottawa Valley. With the preferences of people to have natural or green certified products, we couldn't be more pleased and excited to be able to promote and market our top quality earthenware clay as being 100% natural/unmodified and processed.
